Multi-Tenancy for Service Providers

Data Segregation

Particularly applicable to service providers who offer services to smaller organizations, shared reporting infrastructures are the only way of cost-effectively providing end-customer reports and dashboards in scale. However, shared infrastructure does not mean every user should have access to every report or managed object - it is important to be able to control which users and groups of users have access to devices or groups of devices.

SevOne allows service provider administrators the flexibility they require to provide controlled "sandbox" reporting experiences for their end-users, limiting their visibility to relevant devices and objects.

Robust User Permissions

Not only must it be possible to ring-fence reporting users to see only the components of the network which are used to provide their services, it must be possible to selectively empower users to be able to administer and configure provider-controlled aspects of the way their reports and alerts are generated.

With SevOne, customer administrator users can be selectively given access to define new thresholds for their own devices. For instance, customer administrator users can be given access to create custom reports for their users.
