Hot Standby Appliance
The SevOne Hot Standby Appliance utilizes the same hardware and software as all SevOne appliances; however it is meant to replicate and store all data collected by another device (the primary). In the event of a failure in the primary appliance, the Hot Standby Appliance will detect the fault and will take over the functions of the failed appliance within 30 seconds. All historical data will be available for reporting, and new data will be collected, making the failure transparent to the end users. The only enterprise-ready solution available today, Hot Standby makes full and efficient use of the SevOne distributed architecture. read more
