Network Elements

A network element is defined as a discrete component of a device that has one or more performance indicators that can be monitored, trended or alerted on. In SevOne, an element is considered any performance object, including the following:
  • Interface
  • CPU
  • Memory
  • Battery
  • Ping
  • UPS Input
SevOne offers several types of appliances, each of which is capable of monitoring anywhere from several hundred to many thousands of network elements.
