For organizations with massive flow collection, reporting, analysis and troubleshooting demands, the SevOne NetFlow solution can be implemented via a cluster of SevOne Dedicated NetFlow Collector (SevOne DNC) appliances. While the SevOne PAS fully supports NetFlow, the SevOne DNC appliances are designed and priced to scale and make the collection and reporting on massive amounts of NetFlow data easy, fast and affordable. Scaling from under 10 to 10s of thousands of NetFlow interfaces, the SevOne DNC can operate stand-alone or clustered with other SevOne appliances to provide the industry's fastest and most scalable NetFlow collection and reporting solution.
The SevOne DNC can work standalone or peered in concert with any number of SevOne PAS or DNC appliances to
provide users with a single view of the entire network - end users are not even aware a SevOne DNC is included in the reporting architecture. FlowFalcon supports all flavors of flow collection technology, including Cisco NetFlow v5-v9, Flexible NetFlow, IPFIX, sFlow, NetStream, and Juniper J-Flow. The SevOne FlowFalcon reporting engine excels in providing NetFlow reports that answer the who, what, when and where questions about traffic on your network.
SevOne provides in-depth data about traffic flows in terms of applications, protocols and hosts and analyzes their impact on the network. It can also identify inappropriate application usage as well as anomalous traffic volumes caused by Denial of Service Attacks and other problems resulting in network degradation. By drilling down further into network issues using SevOne, you can isolate network problems to a specific user, host, server, network device or department.

The SevOne DNC range of appliances support from 100 to 1000 flow interfaces and up to 250,000 flows per second, and they can be used in any combination to increase collection and reporting capacity. The SevOne distributed clustering or peer-to-peer architecture elminates the bottlenecks associated with traditional centralized database and reporting architectures.
