The SevOne Performance Appliance Solution (SevOne PASTM) is the industry's fastest, most scalable and comprehensive data collection, monitoring, reporting and analysis solution available today. Each SevOne PAS is packaged as a full-featured integrated appliance capable of monitoring your network or IT Operations within minutes of installation. No additional software, hardware, or external databases are needed for the SevOne PAS to operate.
SevOne’s distributed peer-to-peer architecture is designed to scale to monitor the world’s largest IT environments with no degradation in reporting speed, and to store and rapidly retrieve raw data for one year. Each appliance can be used standalone or can be peered with other appliances to quickly provide reports on any indicator, on any device, or on any application monitored. A VMware-based virtual appliance solution is also available, known as the SevOne vPAS.
All SevOne appliance models offer exactly the same rich feature set and unified Web UI. Because all hardware, software, and features and plug-ins are included in the purchase price, there is never a need to purchase additional addtional software modules for reporting, or to support newer technologies. An open, optimized and comprehensive collection engine supports over 15 collection methodologies including SNMP, NetFlow, IP SLA, bulk performance data or SevOne xStats, WMI, vSphere API, XML, and JMX along with the ability to collect and integrate any time series data through our web services or SOAP API.
In addition to collecting and reporting on big management data from a large variety of sources, the SevOne Performance Management Database (PMDB) is capable of creating sophisticated reports and analytics tailored to specific business and technical needs, which can be shared in easy-to-create and customize dashboards and portals. The SevOne PMDB also integrates with the leading third party tools in areas such as trouble ticketing and fault and configuration management, facilitating the communication and actions taken by these systems as well as human operators.
