Failover - Hot Standby

SevOne provides a Hot-Standby Appliance (HSA) to ensure that you maintain your performance collection and reporting in the event of a primary failure on the SevOne PAS.  This SevOne HSA maintains communication with the primary SevOne PAS appliance and if it detects the primary has failed, picks up the monitoring, polling and alerting.  The SevOne HSA has a full database record from the ongoing database replication that occurs.  The SevOne HSA does not have to be at the same physical location which provides you protection from loss of a single site or data center.
