Beyond the Keynotes at TM Forum Live!
With its natural beauty and Mediterranean climate, Nice, France can be the perfect setting for a retreat.
It’s also a great place for thousands of technologists and innovators to come together to collaborate and share ideas to shape the future of technology.
This week, a few of SevOne’s own are taking part in TM Forum Live! This year’s theme, “Digital Business: Making it Real,” is a topic many industry leaders can relate to. Discussions, presentations and demos at TM Forum have centered around a few main topics – the Internet of Things, Managing NFV and SDN, Customer Centricity and Analytics, Business Innovation and Digital Operations.
Leaders from both large enterprises and smaller organizations, representing a myriad of technology industries, have contributed their thoughts and ideas at the event, which closes on June 4.
In the first two days, technology leaders from Ericsson, Facebook, Bharti Airtel, Deloitte, Walmart, Orange, Volvo and more have led attendees in discussions about how to shape the future of technology.
Our own Nicholas Reid – SevOne’s VP of Product Management – participated in a panel discussion called “Managing the Complexity of the New Hybrid Environment,” a talk centered on NFV and SDN. Other panelists included Brian Baird, CIO, Expeto; Massimo Fatato, WW OSS Domain Lead, HP; and Vikram Saksena, Chief Solutions Architect, NetScout Systems.
Brian Promes – Director, Product Marketing at SevOne – was also featured at the event. He shared his thoughts on SevOne’s relationship with TM Forum and the future of technology evolution during an interview with Telco Professionals. See the video here.
Next week, we’ll share what we’ve learned while at TM Forum. But for now, we’re looking at what people are learning and talking about, via social media – from connected cars, to how to optimize networks in NFV and SDN, to the ever-expanding Internet of Things.
The event prompted discussions surrounding IoT, and of course, the trending, up-and-coming ways our devices are connected and functioning.
