The direction is clear: Network virtualization is gaining momentum.

41% of service providers have already deployed network virtualization solutions. While that’s not a majority, 85% of those who have not deployed it yet are looking to deploy in the next two years.

In the enterprise space, half of those surveyed have deployed network virtualization. 78% of those who haven’t have plans to adopt network virtualization technologies in the next year.

Network virtualization is less about if it will happen, it’s when and how will network operation teams integrate the flexible nature of network virtualization into their daily operational procedures.
