A brief video outlining how to make status map reports through the reporting wizard in SevOne.
This video will cover adding a status map to your report and/or dashboard. The process for creating a status map is covered in another video. So this will be very short, since all we are doing is selecting the status map we want to place into the dashboard.
So for example, the Enterprise Wireless Status map could be brought into the dashboard. Now this is fairly large in the two column view. But if I were to shrink that down to one column, its much more manageable. And then I have full functionality within this particular report attachment to zoom in if was defined when creating the status map. I can also engage with some of the word attachments. So I could view the alerts, I could drill into the device template or some default summary, or look at the object that generated the alert. So a lot of flexibility for drilling down, both visually within in navigating from one status map to another, as well as drilling into your devices that ultimately make up the status map.
In addition to these videos, remember that the NMS Cluster User Manual is available through the NMS Cluster UI as shown below. Clicking on the question mark at the top right of any page will automatically bring you to the section of the manual that corresponds to the page you are currently on.
