SevOne Joins the Alcatel-Lucent OSS Connected Partner Program
SevOne completes certification testing with the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 Service Aware Manager
WILMINGTON, DEL -- September 25, 2014 -- SevOne, provider of the world’s most scalable performance monitoring platform to the world’s most connected companies, today announced joining the Alcatel-Lucent OSS Connected Partner Program and completing certification testing with the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 Service Aware Manager (SAM) to provide carriers with end-to-end performance metrics in the SevOne platform.
The Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM is a single management platform which offers element, network and service management for Alcatel-Lucent’s Carrier Ethernet and IP/MPLS Service Routing portfolio. For Communication Service Providers (CSPs) the integration combines SevOne’s multi-vendor support with data available from the 5620 SAM and provides dynamic real-time reporting, alerts and alarms and baselining of data, all in a single view across CSPs’ entire multi-vendor, physical and virtual infrastructure.
“SevOne’s partnership with Alcatel-Lucent and the completion of certification testing, provides carriers and enterprises with a solution that gives a unified view of their very sophisticated infrastructures, and helps provide joint customers with the ability to continually optimize their network and IT assets,” stated Keith Bartlett, Vice President of Corporate Business Development for SevOne. “As the needs of the market become more dynamic and time sensitive, the ability to collect and act on real-time performance data will provide our customers with a significant advantage.”
- SevOne developed a very flexible integration with Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM, and is continuously evolving SevOne PAS integration and certification with 5620 SAM in support of, but not limited to, device level statistics, interface statistics, Y.1731, routing protocol level statistics, and IP management statistics.
- Business benefits of this integration include but are not limited to: real-time view of Key Performance Indicators of networks and services, decreased mean time to repair with real-time dashboards and alerts of devices and services not performing optimally, leverage of real-time dashboards and reporting to meet and exceed service level agreements to customers.
- The Alcatel-Lucent OSS Connected Partner Program is designed to help communication service providers reduce integration costs, time and risk by pre-integrating OSS application solutions that are compatible and interoperate with Alcatel-Lucent network management solutions.
