SevOne Names IT Management Technology Industry Sales Executives Bart Kelly and Larry Baird to Lead Federal and Service Provider Sales Teams

Wilmington, DE -- Oct. 17, 2012 -- SevOne Inc., a leader in IT performance management, today announced the addition of IT management technology industry veterans Bart Kelly and Larry Baird to its growing sales force.

The duo joins the company’s team of professionals dedicated to providing solutions based on its SevOne Cluster™ next-generation distributed technology, that enable single-view monitoring of millions of network elements across monitoring technologies. They bring a combined 40 years of federal and commercial sales experience.

Mr. Kelly, who maintains an active U.S. Secret Clearance, joins SevOne as our Vice President of Federal Sales. Kelly was most recently with Brisbane, Calif.-based CollabNet Inc., where as vice president of federal sales he supported direct sales activities in the federal Intelligence and Civilian markets, creating partnerships with integrators while improving the company’s forecasting approach. Earlier, as CA Technologies Inc.’s Director of Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Markets, he developed and implemented a training program for the Service Assurance Business Unit’s 300-member team, while delivering 200 percent of a projected yearly sales budget working with the Army, Navy and Air Force, among other key projects.

Kelly has also held progressive sales management positions with CA Company NetQoS Inc., OPNET Technologies, CAST Software, Automatic Data Processing and Lanier Worldwide Inc.

Mr. Baird will lead Service Provider Sales for North America for SevOne. He is a twenty-year sales veteran and has sold communications technology solutions to the world’s largest service providers. As director of sales for EMC2Infrastructure Software Group, he managed a team that addressed key tenets of service assurance and cloud infrastructure management within EMC2, as well as for VMWare Software Solutions. Baird also served as a director at Juniper Networks, contributing to the development of the company’s Juniper Service Provider program.

Earlier at Alcatel, he ensured that service provider sales teams delivered successful technology deployments in what have since become the world’s largest communications networks.
